We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (“Policy”). This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide (“Information”) on the space-talents.com website (“Website” or “Service”) and any of its related products and services (collectively, “Services”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that Information. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your Personal Information and how you can access and update it.

Collection of Personal Information

If you wish to create your Space Talents profile in order to be visible to on the Space Talents platform to employers in the European Union, you are asked to provide certain Personal Information (for example, your name, e-mail address, citizenship, prior work experience, prior education, …).

We store and process any information you knowingly provide to us when you create an account or fill in any form on our website in order to launch your profile on our platform with the aim of matching you with employment opportunities in the European Union. This information may include the following:

  • Contact information (such as email address, phone number, etc.)
  • Personal information (such as name, citizenship(s), date of birth, country of residence, etc.)
  • Prior Work Experience
  • Prior Education
  • Your Resume/CV

You can choose not to provide us with your some of this information, but then we may not be able to launch your talent profile on our platform as we can not ensure that you would qualify for a work visa under national European regulations. Users who are uncertain about what information is mandatory are welcome to contact us.

Use and Processing of Collected Onformation

In order to launch your Space Talents profile, we may need to collect and use certain Personal Information. If you do not provide the information that we request, we may not be able to launch your profile on the Space Talents platform.

We act in the capacity of a data processor in situations when you submit Personal Information through the Website and Services. We do not own or control the submitted Information.

Any of the information we collect from you may be used for the following purposes:

  • Launch your Profile on the Space Talents Platform to be visible to employers
  • Send you updates about our services
  • Respond to inquiries and offer support
  • Process your anonymised data in for the purpose of creating aggregated statistics and for training ML models for the purpose of matchmaking with employers

When you have given your consent for your profile to be launched on our Space Talents platform for employers, the following information will be made public:

  • Your Nationality
  • Your Education
  • Your Work Experience
  • Your Profile Picture
  • Your Skill Profile
  • Your Certificates
  • Your Age

The following information will not be made public on the Space Talents platform, but will only be shared with employers once you are mutually entering an interview process for the purpose of recruitment.

  • Your Name
  • Your Date of Birth
  • Your Email Address
Privacy of Minors

We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any information through the Website and Services. If you have reason to believe that a minor under the age of 18 has provided Personal Information to us through the Website and Services, please contact us to request that we delete that minor’s Personal Information from our Services.

Disclosure of information

We may share your information with our customers, affiliates, contracted companies, and service providers (collectively, “Third Parties”) we rely upon to assist in the operation of the Website and Services available to you.

We will not share your name with third parties and will not share any information with unaffiliated third parties. Third Parties are not authorized to use or disclose your information except as necessary to perform their recruitment process. We will retain and use your Information for the period necessary to provide the Services to you, to comply with our legal obligations, to enforce our Policy, resolve disputes, and unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.

If you want your Information to be permanently deleted, you can request deletion any time by sending an email to office@space-talents.com. Per request we ensure deletion of all data within 48 hours.

Our Website and Services may use third-party analytics tools that use cookies, web beacons, or other similar information-gathering technologies to collect standard internet activity and usage information. The information gathered is used to compile statistical reports on User activity such as how often Users visit our Website and Services, what pages they visit and for how long, etc. We use the information obtained from these analytics tools to monitor the performance and improve our Website and Services. We do not use third-party analytics tools to track or to collect any personally identifiable information of our Users and we will not associate any information gathered from the statistical reports with any individual User.

We offer electronic newsletters to which you may voluntarily subscribe at any time. We are committed to keeping your e-mail address confidential and will not disclose your email address to any third parties except as allowed in the information use and processing section. We will maintain the information sent via e-mail in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
